5Got my through a bind!
By M. Prince
I had reconstructive surgery on my left ankle in November of 2007. I was on crutches for three months. I knew that I would not be capable to carry anything while I was on crutches. This little head lamp saved the day, or night. When I necessitated to get up in the night for what ever reason all I had to do was put on the head lamp, turn it on and I had just the right amount of light! I could see great and I did not have to wake up my wife with too much light. The LED is very clear and bright, and the batteries have lasted a long time. There is no battery back to have to mess with. The batteries insert right behind the light, so they are easy to change.

This little light works outstanding when you need a light source for short distances. Only draw back is that the light does not have a very far throw. But again for short distances, or for a concentrated light right in front of you, you cannot go wrong with this light.

3small, light, dim – highpriced batteries
By T Austin
This lamp is very little and light, but a bit dim. It also uses more highpriced “button batteries”. If being super light is necessary to you, this may be a good choice.

I’m more than willing to carry a few more ounces and get a more splendid beam, longer battery life and more mutual AAA batteries with this Tikka Petzl E47 PS Tikka Plus Four-LED Headlamp, Soft

4Good for close up, not good for walking in the woods.
By Two kids mom
My son took this camping and informed me that it was outstanding for reading in the tent, the little light may be angled on the head strap to point in dissimilar directions. He likewise informed me that it was NOT ENOUGH LIGHT for walking in the woods in the dark, one LED is apparently not bright sufficient to illumine a far sufficient distance and he informed me he wants a more splendid flashlight next time.
