Have to confess I got all excessively affected emotionally over a light bulb. Well, to be more accurate, I got all excessively affected emotionally over the price of a light bulb. How long will a LED bulb last?

Here’s what I am going to do concerning LED light bulbs.

• Keep my eye pealed for sales. I wish I had purchased more 7.5 watt bulbs for $9.98.
• Every probability I get, remove enclosed light fixtures including recessed and canned lights.
• When sales allow, alter all my CFL’s to LED’s.

I put the LED in the lamp in the family room. It is more glorious than the similar sized CFL it substituted and seems to brighten the whole room just a little more. I am looking forward to getting further and added LED’s and attempting them in other locations. It’s nice to know, each indication points to the probability, that I will not have to interchange that luminar again in my lifetime.

Great Concept…ruined by cheap plastic switch

I love the conception of this little light. However, a cheap plastic switch kills the reliability. I swopped mine on, it worked. Switched it off, then swapped it on again. Dead! The light will only stay on if I employ neverending pressure on the switch. I was excessively affected emotionally to receive this product but was without delay disappointed. Product lifetime = less than one minute.

I give the product a 2nd star only because the company, Risk Racing/Striker, was more than willing to send me a new unit without calling for that I send back the bad one. I look forward to receiving the replacement, but even so, I have doubts with regards to the durability of this product and it is reliability in a rough environment.

I guess you can’t ask for much, given the price. Honestly, it is such a distinguishable and cool conception that I would have expended more than double the $7 I expended to own a unit that is more dependable.

This thing is outstanding BUT!!!

The switches cand be fussy, (I own 8 of them) But they make a heck of a lot of light and the magnets are gorgeous darned strong. BE AWARE that if you beat them up the magnets will come off, but I work with them on an oil rig so go fugure. They are great but it is best to have a few of them.

Handy little light.

This light works well and the magnets seem to be powerful sufficient to keep the thing in place. However, the light seems to be a bit more cheaply-made than I expected. Note: I not long back found the light at a big-box home betterment store for less than half the price.
