Very nice headlights.

Osram is the company that makes Sylvannia bulbs but since they are fabricating for a European market they are higher output, or so I am told. These are unquestionably better than Silverstar ultras and are on par with the Phillips extreme power. Although the PEPs have a much better high beam. The blue ring is pointless in my opinion, the bulb is already white burning in comparison to frequent bulbs (as are the Phillips extreme +80s) and white light just reduces output by removing portion of the color spectrum. Bulb life is not good with extreme efficacy bulbs such as these, there is no getting around that, but as far as this category of bulbs go these have good life expectancy if you don’t touch the bulbs with bare hands.
If you drive an older car with yellow and opaqued headlights I suggest you hand sand them starting with 1000 grit and working your way back to 8000 grit (use a great deal of water when wet sanding). It will take you regarding 3 hours but it makes as much divergence as any headlight, you will probably want to repeat this with the lighter grits each few months. I polished my ’99 Civic lenses and substituted them with these and am very pleased, much for less than new enclosures.

Upgrade from stock

Purchased these bulbs for my 2007 Honda CR-V to replace the stock bulbs at 60k miles. I was initially planning on purchasing Osram Silverstars but found these rather so I gave them a try. They are a outstanding betterment over the stock set. Noticeably whiter light and appears to illumine further down the road. I own Silverstars on my Ducati and it seems to have whiter and more splendid output, which is what leads me to give these Nighbreaker Plus 4 out of 5 stars, along with the premium price for halogen lights. I would unquestionably buy again however, or perchance Silverstars.
