5Take Control of your Ceiling Fans.
By Kenn Wislander
I have a couple of ceiling fans made by Hunter which came with remote control units. In less than 6 months both remote units failed in two dissimilar ways. Instead of throwing my cash away on two more substitute kits by hunter, I opted to buy a couple of these units instead.

Unlike most of the fan remote control units these have more features than on, off, and the three fan speeds.

Including the three fan speeds, you may also dim the lights, set the lights at lower level by default, set automati timing for lights and fans to come on and go off on a schedule you would like; and you may likewise set a room temperature on the remotes to mechanically make the fans turn on and off as simple climate control feature.

The remotes and control units have a basic four dip switch ID scheme on each so you may use multiple remotes and controllers on distinguished fans in the same house, or like in my living room, I have multiple fans and lights running off of a single remote so they work in tandem rather of having to turn them on and off separately, and these units work outstanding for that too.

In case any individual is marveling these are the same units likewise sold by Westinghouse, Minka, and Hampton Bay which cost noticeably more (Model# FAN-9T), and have genuinely good reviews. The ones that I received have a “Flow Angel” logo stamped on them where the other company logos are ordinarily stamped. At numerous point I will in all likelihood use rubbing alcohol to remove the logos, but for now I don’t mind too much.

1Product fail
By Bob Barron
This remote control kit broke on the second day of use. I would have tried to return it for a alternate but I found a direct substitute at Home Depot on sale for 30% off the following day. So all in all, this was a finish waste of time and money.
