Educational, fun & easy to use!

We purchased this locally and run it on an older Mac (updated OS). My son (3 at the time) and daughter (approaching 7) now and again fight over this game – they both LOVE it! I love that it’s easy to run for a kid. My kids may load the disc and start out the program and navigate the whole game without calling for to read and with no adult. There are 5(?) regions – Rainforest, Arctic, Grasslands, etc. the kids may explore. They have the choices of regarding 4 games (same in each region) to earn points. The points are earned toward getting their own animal, suitable to the region they are exploring. Sometimes a bonus-type game pops up and the kids have to find the animal that is in the faulty region. They haven’t gotten bored yet – but I assume ~8 year olds and up might. The voices, music, graphics are all pleasing, without the annoying dumbed-down rubbish a heap of instructional kids games have. Great game!

Great game!

We purchased this game for our daughter for Christmas. She is six and loves it. She is competent to start out the game and play most constituents on her own. We have read lots of books with regards to animals but she has learned galore new facts by playing this game. The graphics are gorgeous good, but our daughter isn’t in truth concerned regarding how the game looks. Every time she has a friend over she wants to show them her game and they end up playing for awhile. Her friends seem to like it also.

Awesome game even for toddlers

I initially downloaded a trial for this game for my 3 yr old from Big Fish Games and she and the 3 yr old we babysit loved it so much I had to buy it. It says the commended age for this game is 6 but they are 3 and they are competent to play it. You learn a lot in regards to animals and it is fun too!!! I highly commend this game it is worth the $20. I just wish they sold it in stores like Target or Toys R Us so I could have saved on shipping but it is still worth it!!!
