A few annoying features, but gets the occupation done.

I purchased this model in on clearance at a Walgreens for $10. My only major complaint is it doesn’t come with a wall plug, there is a DC jack in the back, also may be powered by usb, which may be inconvenient but I just employed my ipod wall charger, likewise runs on 4 AA batteries. I can not speak for the wall plug, it does charge the ipod on usb power, but on AA batteries it does not charge your ipod which is annoying but not a big deal. Speakers are piercing sufficient to fill a regular sized room, such as a living room. Loud sufficient to put on the deck and listen while swimming outdoors as well. Audio Quality is a bit under par, but not one thing too noticeable, and only at high volumes. On your ipod, set the EQ as little speakers and it fixes the problem. the folding technique is cool and portable, and I have not had to replace the batteries yet after regarding 20hrs of playtime. Also has an Aux plugin with included 3.5mm-3.5mm audio cable. Seeing as I use my ipod for all my music needs, Im happy to have an audio cable for the AUX on my car stereo

overall, good for the money, even at $30.

Barely worth the $10

Yes, it was only $10 on clearance at Walgreens, but probably ought to have been less. The audio quality is awful: closely intolerably “treble.” It was an momentum buy as an extra little gift for my daughter, and after having her plug it in and try it, I was embarrassed for having done so. There is no EQ adjustment that may repair the unusually poor quality playback. As stated in the review above, there are no cords or cables included in the kit. The build quality is very, very low. While this may be made evident by the price, this is a product that will not be applied by adults, accordingly a sturdier build will be necessary. I’m just giving careful consideration to this as “disposable.” She’ll use it until it breaks, then I shell out the right amount of cash for a higher quality product.
